I had a chance to listen to the station and Ms. Fel during my last two trips to Arizona and wanted to reach out to this young lady to get an inside scoop of the radio business and her experiences. I had a few questions and she was totally open to an interview.
Q. Are you from Arizona, and if not, what brought you to the beautiful desert state?
Q. Prior to working at Power 98.3, did you work at any other radio stations?
Q. How did your career start off in the music radio business? Was it through internships or were you lucky enough to know someone to bring you right in?
Q. What inspirational advice would you give to those out there looking to break into radio?
Q. Who is your favorite artist you’ve interviewed and/or met so far?
Q. Is this your last pit stop, your “I’ve accomplished my dream”, or do you have plans to move through different and even higher channels within the radio business?
Happy Born Day to truly, my fav radio host – Ebro of Hot97!
So, Kanye West talks his new shoes, the Grammy’s, music culture, his wife’s fake ass, society, racism, Amber Rose, Tyga & Kylie Jenner,
Just a FYI Kanye – Kim Kardashian’s paid for shape is not new and different – black women have been blessed since the beginning, naturally. There is nothing at all that makes Kardashian a spectacular woman. She is as plainly stated, a rich accessory sadly a few black men have found to be the epiphany of wifey material.
I will say this – At least Miss Amber Rose has had to ‘work’ to get where she’s at now – speaking of monetary and stardom stat. For Kanye to say he had to shower 30 times before dating Kim K. after Amber Rose is a double entendre. These are both women who have exposed themselves, sexually via mass media and have dated other black men of celebrity status – neither one of these women are truly picture perfect.
Some truths spoken in this interview and some dumb ass shit also said!
Remember folks – Jazz, Blues, Hip Hop, R&B and even Rock (yes Rock) music came from Black people. Our stolen culture has got those who are conscious enough to know quite frustrated.
I am a fan of Azealia Banks & the state of hip hop is in need of reconstruction within mainstream entertainment. This interview w| Ebro and Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 is the type of discussions I love to see when it comes to our culture. This is how the awake young black america feels.
A deeper look into Kendrick Lamar as a person, his music and the new album to be released the end of this year – early 2015.
See [ I ] official video @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aShfolR6w8
A closer look into Chris Brown, real life issues and how he has dealt with his mistakes.
Lupe Fiasco responds to Kendrick Lamar‘s fighting words this track and 2 other – two tracks built to fire shots at the Compton MC; the latter is a continuation of Fiasco’s 2010 track “Super Lupe Rap.” Lupe Fiasco gains momentum toward the end of “SLR 2″, digging deeper into Kendrick’s display on Big Sean‘s “Control (HOF)” and dishing out a few of his thoughts on Jay Z‘s album Magna Carta Holy Grail.
Took two sips of the holy grail then I backed up &I turned around & I bent over & pittoo’d shit. What do you think?
I love Jay, that’s my nigga. I feel sicker than a cruise ship
Now we all heard what he said, but what he said means we dead and that shit is insane.
He’s so crazy, look at the little baby.
Nigga you ain’t Nas, nigga you ain’t Jay-Z.
You will respect me, you will reject me,
But I’ve done so much, no matter how far you go, you will reflect me
Yea, Lupe Fiasco is in a category of his own as he says and most other mainstream rap artists are not in his category… He is a genius writer and says WTF he wants. Love you Lupe!
I fcks w| Kenrick too tho! They are each in their own category.
