The Black Struggle – Black Lives Matter – Black Women – Black Men
I have not yet seen the movie, but some natives of Chicago, IL are not big fans of this film. As stated in the Chicago Tribune:
“So after all of the fighting, name-calling and political wrangling over the film’s title, “Chi-Raq” fails to illuminate the lives of the many Chicagoans who go to bed with the sound of gunfire outside their windows and wake up to the news of yet another murder. While critics have hailed the satirical film as a victory for Lee, Chicagoans go home empty-handed”.
Me personally, I think all the cast for this film should have came directly from Chicago. I remember the casting calls for Straight Outta Compton – the casting calls were done in Gardena, Compton – areas where real blacks in the struggle, who knew first hand resided. Unfortunately, this film seems to have a lot of big Hollywood names.
But, I commend Spike Lee for shedding light on an issue black communities across the United States deal with on a daily – gun violence.
Rapper’s these these don’t be saying it – no really though….
& now for the listening pleasures – a real track.

Viola Davis has made history during the 67th annual Emmy Awards (that many year’s and this is the 1st), becoming the first black actress to win the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for her role as Annalise Keating on ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder.
In her acceptance, speech – she quoted Harriet Tubman:
“In my mind, I see a line. And over that line I see green fields and lovely flowers and beautiful white women with their arms stretched out to me over that line, but I can’t seem to get there no-how. I can’t seem to get over that line. Let me tell you something: the only thing that separates women of color from anyone else is opportunity’.
You cannot win an Emmy for roles that are simply not there.”
This country, this world has a history of hatred, an unwanting for people of color to shine the way God intended. Viola Davis is Black Excellence, she is a shining light in a world of darkness.
Speaking the real*
Europeans / white people have “colonized” (brought upon terror, murdered, raped and occupied) all lands across the world. The things that are Black, the many things we have created has been stolen by whites for their own personal and monetary gains.
Don’t let media / capitalism poison you and your children’s minds for the conquering by those who’s ancestors and down the bloodlines created a country / world governed by evil.
Loaded Lux spits that knowledge*
I am an admirer of this woman and she has so much to teach women about becoming your own boss.
Interview w| Arnita Johnson.
What a large, I mean large number of women from ALL types are curious about (not saying always in a good way, because we know racism can lead to curiosity) – the Black man.
Well, here is a film for all women (and men) to let their fantasies run wild.
